WeB Launches Special "DNC Compliance Manager" Package
Celebrating the recent attainment of Hong Kong ICT Best Business award

To celebrate the recent recognition of the Certificate of Merit of the Hong Kong ICT Best Business Award (Product) organized by Hong Kong Computer Society and supported by the Government of the HKSAR, Wharf T&T eBusiness Limited (“WeB”) offers a free “DNC Compliance Manager” package especially for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

WeB is committed to developing innovative and creative e-marketing solutions for SMEs. Since the establishment in early 2007, WeB has developed many web-based applications tailor-made for the Hong Kong SMEs for free through a designated website, namely, the emarketing learning Gameboard, Public Unsubscribe Facility and eM Assistant.

The Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance (UEM Ordinance) has been fully implemented on 22 December 2007 and the public can choose to unsubscribe from commercial electronic messages. In view of the new legislative requirement, WeB believes that a user-friendly and effective tool is essential in helping SMEs comply with the do-not-call (DNC) requirement so that SMEs can continue to roll out their email marketing campaign legally and effectively.

To celebrate the recent attainment of the Certificate of Merit of the Hong Kong ICT Best Business Award (Product), WeB is pleased to launch a free “DNC Compliance Manager” package for WeB-eM customers. All WeB-eM contract service users can simply call 2112-7777 before 18 February 2008 to register for this 3-month free DNC Compliance Manager package valued at $360.

Under the UEM Ordinance, companies are not allowed to send commercial electronic messages to any telephone or fax number listed in the do-not-call registers starting from the tenth (10) working day of its registration, unless consent has been given by the registered user of the relevant telephone or fax number. WeB's DNC Compliance Manager is a one-stop web-based service to help companies handle the Do-not-call Registers provided by OFTA, manage unsubscribe request and customers' consent. Users can simply log on to http://www.web-123.com/web123/dnc2007index.php, follow a few simple steps and they will have the updated DNC list and a cleansed database in one go. The key features of DNC Compliance Manager are:

·Connect to the OFTA’s Do-not-call Registers directly with daily automatic update

·Various data entry methods for customers to prepare their contact list

·Preparation of the contact list:

-Remove addresses without customer’s consent but listed in the Registers
-Remove addresses listed in the unsubscribe list
·Option to save contact list for future use

·Detail record of unsubscribe request and customers' consent

The Hong Kong ICT Awards were established in 2006 as a collaborative effort among industry support organizations, ICT professional bodies, academia and the Government to build a large scale and internationally recognized branding of ICT awards of Hong Kong.

The Awards aim to recognize, promote and commend the excellent achievements to which Hong Kong ICT professionals and organizations contribute.
