Wharf New T&T Appoints New Director
Wharf New T&T Limited today announced the appointment of Mr. Roger K.H. Luk, JP, to its Board as a non-executive Director.

Mr. Luk is Managing Director and Deputy Chief Executive of Hang Seng Bank, and a Director of the Business and Professionals Federation of Hong Kong and AXA General Insurance Hong Kong Limited. In addition, he is Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Human Resources Development in the Financial Services Sector, a Member of the Advisory Committee on New Broad-based Taxes, a Board Member of the Hang Seng School of Commerce and a Council Member and Treasurer of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr. Luk was formerly a Member of the Legislative Council and the Statistics Advisory Board as well as a part-time Member of the Central Policy Unit of the Hong Kong Government.

Announcing the new appointment, Wharf New T&T Chairman & CEO Mr. Stephen Ng said, "We are extremely pleased to have Mr. Luk on the Board. We are confident that the Company will greatly benefit from his extensive commercial experience, especially in the financial sector, his management expertise and his in-depth knowledge of Hong Kong and the Region."

With Mr. Luk joining the Board, Wharf New T&T is better positioned in its continued development and expansion. The Board of Wharf New T&T now comprises three non-executive Directors with a balance of skills, expertise and vision that will bring significant value to the Company.
